Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" Performed at 2013 BET Awards, Has Artist Considering Name Change [VIDEO]

Robin Thicke is loving the success of Blurred Lines, his new single featuring T.I. and Pharrell.

According to MTV News, Robin Thicke is "thinking about changing my name to Blurred Lines at this point," the singer/songwriter told reporters on the red carpet at the 2013 BET Awards in L.A. on Sunday (June 30).

"Blurred Lines" is currently #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in the U.K., Canada and Australia, just to name a few. The song has gotten so popular that Thicke and his collaborators, T.I. and Pharrell, were called in to perform the record during the live awards show last night.

Robin Thicke's new single Blurred Lines has caused outrage amongst women everywhere for its  lyrics and misogynistic video.  The 36-year-old singer performed a watered-down version with rappers Pharrell and T.I at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

Thicke brought his music video to life at the Nokia Theatre, performing against a backdrop of his name (and a hashtag) in giant red block letters - in case any viewers at home didn't know what they were in for. Dressed in a full suit and sunglasses, he was surrounded by a gaggle of models, much like the music video.
