Miley Cyrus Twerk Upsets Fiancé Liam Hemsworth; 'We Can't Stop' Video 'Toned Down' To Appease Hemsworth [Gifs]

Miley Cyrus' engagement with Liam Hemsworth has gone through a myriad of rough patches, but it seems Miley's overt display of sexiness is the primary rift between the two these days.

The "We Can't Stop" chanteuse has been hell-bent on destroying her cookie-cutter Hannah Montana image since dropping her first single off the new album due out later this month.

She's been partying and showing a lot of skin, most notably during her video for the new "We Can't Stop" single.

Sources revealed to HollywoodLife.com and Perez Hilton that Miley and Liam have been fighting nonstop and that it mostly revolves around her sexy new image:

"They’ve had a lot of fights about it … Miley doesn’t think Liam has any right to tell her to tone it down. He plays different characters for his career and this is the character she’s playing right now for her career."

In terms of the "characters" she's playing in her career, twerking for Juicy J and her inspiration for the Ying Yang Twins to talk about her body in a most ungentlemanly way.

Perhaps the craziest part of the whole ordeal between Miley and Liam as they continue to answer questions about their tumultuous engagement, is the fact that Miley actually is toning down her act a bit.

Sources reveal that she actually made her incredibly provocative "We Can't Stop" video less so:

"She has made some adjustments because she wants to keep the peace. It might not look like it, but she toned down a lot of stuff in her We Can’t Stop video. It’s a hard line to walk because she’s trying to be respectful to Liam but also be true to herself as an artist."

We're all wondering what Miley was going to include in the original version of the video before she toned it down for Liam?
