Karrueche Tran's Sexy Words Calm Chris Brown Before BET Awards Performance [Video]

Chris Brown had quite the performance at the BET awards last night, but sources reveal he was bundle of nerves before taking stage and Karrueche Tran calmed him down.

Tran and Brown arrived in style at the BET Awards last night, pulling up amidst paparazzi, who were loudly told to "stand back!" as they rolled in. Obviously Brown has to be careful while driving.

But it was Chris Brown's nerves that were on end before the show, and Karrueche Tran appears to have had a pacifying affect on the normally wound-up R&B crooner.

HollywoodLife.com reports that Karrueche Tran held him down before the show to keep him focused on his performance, where he sang a duet with Nicki Minaj and Aaliyah (in hologram form, naturally):

"Karrueche was holding the him down before the show. She told him to relax, be calm and take it easy and do what what he do - and he nailed it.

"I'm telling you, Kae knows what to tell him. Everything she around, he lights up. She's completes him - and they just click. He's happy and she makes him happy."

Aside from appeasing Chris Brown's pre-BET Awards performance, Tran also snapped a picture of the two before the awards began and wished Brown luck during his star-studded performances before a packed Nokia Theatre crowd in Los Angeles.

In the caption for the photo, Tran wrote: "My baby, good luck today."

The Karrueche Tran Chris Brown pairing certainly seems a lot less difficult and scandal-plagued than his previous relationship with tumultuous former beau, Rihanna.
