Playstation 4 Release Date Rumors: Grand Theft Auto V Available On PS4 By End Of Year? Rockstar To Release Video Game For PS3 In September

Grand Theft Auto V, a popular video game series produced by Rockstar Games, will be available on the Playstation 4 by the end of the year, Society and Religion speculates.

Although Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto V is set to hit the shelves on September 17 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the video game giant has not announced a release date for next-generation consoles or personal computers.

"Whatever the case may be it's fairly safe to assume that we'll have Grand Theft Auto V on the PlayStation 4 by the end of the year, it's just a matter of what Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have been prioritizing as their main focus," Society and Religion writes.

"We think that the inclusion of a PlayStation 4 day one release may even get PC players excited seeing as they could quite easily port the PS4 version of the game onto the PC thanks to their systems new hardware."

Grand Theft Auto V will take place in Los Santos, a fictional city that mimics Los Angeles, and will chronicle the lives of three criminals completing missions together.

Several PlayStation 4 release date rumors are swirling across the gaming industry but one speculates that Sony's gaming console may arrive on November 13, according to Media Markt, a consumer electronics retailer in Germany.

This Playstation 4 release date rumor arose when the retailer posted an advertisement listing Sony's upcoming game console release as November 13.

Xbit Labs cited the photo of the marketing poster that was released by Media Markt.
