As 'X Factor' UK Judges Struggle To Find Talent, Alum Cher Lloyd Releases New Single With Second Album To Follow

Although "X Factor" UK is reportedly struggling to find talent in its audition process, the judges have nothing to worry about when it comes to season seven alum Cher Lloyd.

For its tenth season, the judges are reportedly "tougher than ever," to the point where the question of talent is seriously being raised this year.

"Sharon and Gary are teaming up against lackluster talent, and without the arena audience being there to persuade them as in previous years, not many acts are making it through," says a source according to Digital Spy.

"But Sharon and Gary are insisting that they only want the best. It's causing a bit of a split between the panel. Ideally, they want to get groups that have been together a while and have got chemistry, rather than having to make their own."

As veteran "X Factor" fans remember, some of the most successful group acts from the series, like One Direction, Little Mix, or Fifth Harmony from "X Factor" USA, were created from solo acts.

But not all is glum for the hit series, as veteran alum Cher Lloyd is doing just fine after placing fourth three years ago.

Most recently, the 19-year-old pop singer released her new single "It's All Good" featuring Ne-Yo.

Coming off of the success of her debut album "Sticks + Stones," the singer is ready to show her growth as an artist, hopefully with a second album dropping later this year.

"I feel like I've grown up as a person, learned a lot about myself as an artist," Lloyd tells Billboard Magazine.

"And my fans need it, they really do. They may not forgive me for not releasing any new material, like, 'Is she just going away?' I feel very positive about this year and I feel like it's the new me and a lot more confident too."

Will "X Factor" prove too strict this season for upcoming talents like Cher Lloyd to be noticed?
