Julianne Moore In New Pictures For Reed Krakoff; Coach CEO To Kick-Off His Own Brand With ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ Actress, Michelle Obama A Big Fan Of RK

Julianne Moore is the new face of Reed Krakoff, the new brand launched by the CEO and president of Coach. Julianne will lead the New York fashion designer's Fall campaign, which will debut in magazines in September.

Krakoff photographed the 52-year-old, red-haired actress himself for the campaign, with the French Embassy building on Fifth Avenue in New York City as the location for the shoot, Yahoo! News reports. The photos have a vitange, Polaroid feel to them.

"I have admired Julianne's extraordinary talent and unique style for many years and have been fortunate enough to get to know her on both a professional and personal level," Reed told WWD. "The combination of personal strength, confidence and a subtle sensuality, which is strongly reflected in the imagery."

The "Crazy, Stupid, Love" actress is no stranger to fashion. She has previously modeled for Bulgari and Talbots, and is a favorite of many big fashion houses. She usually sits front row at fashion shows, including at Reed Krakoff's Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week presentation, where she carried a bag of the designer's. Julianne is also the face of several L'Oréal makeup products.

Another famous fan of Krakoff is Michelle Obama, who has often worn the designer's clothes to important events. She wore his pieces for her official portrait, Obama's swearing-in ceremony, and her April 2013 Vogue cover, The Huffington Post reports.

Reed announced in April this year that he would leave his position as Coach's president and executive creative director in June 2014, and would launch his own self-titled brand. He was the head of Coach for 16 years.

"I'm [pleased] to focus exclusively on the RK brand and to embark on the next phase of my career," Reed told WWD in April about his plans.
