New Ending For Tidus And Yuna [RUMOR]: Final Fantasy X, X-2 HD Remake To Add 30-Minute Epilogues Upon Release

Despite being an HD remake of original titles Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, Square Enix will add a lot more new material than fans previously anticipated.

First reported by Shounen Jump, 30-minute epilogues will apparently be added at the end of both games, bridging the gap between FFX and FFX-2, while giving us a glimpse of life after Final Fantasy.

So far, the epilogues are being called several things. Some consider them to be "new episodes" after the end credits, while others, given the length, call them straight up dramas.

Joystiq writes that the epilogues will feature original stories written by Kazushige Nojima, best known for his work on the Square Enix franchise as well as Kingdom Hearts.

Fans of the original games will remember the tragic ending with Final Fantasy X and the multiple scenarios of Final Fantasy X-2. The HD remake may show us more of Tidus and Yuna, and perhaps a happily ever after.

An interesting rumor is that the episodes will also feature new characters, in addition to all new voice acting.

Does this mean FFX-2 HD will give us a cliffhanger, or possibly even something that will point to a future release?!

Okay, maybe just a baby between Tidus and Yuna. That isn't too much to ask, is it Square Enix?

Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD will be released later this year for the PS3 and PS Vita.
