Minecraft 1.6 Update Includes Rideable Horses And New Launcher; Why Some Gamers Think It’s “Not Exciting” At All

Minecraft 1.6 update was officially released on July 1, however, there are reports saying that the update is "not exciting" at all.

Tech Chronicles reported about Minecraft 1.6 update stating that there are some buzzes going around that Mojang, the game developer of the hit adventure and block-building game, has compromised the quality of the update, "because of the fame they have achieved."

Reports claim that Minecraft 1.6 update is 'not exciting' entirely because apparently, the developer s making changes only to areas where changes are not really necessary what so ever. Contrary to what the fans and the public are interested in, focus of the Minecraft 1.6 update is not directed to areas that really needed the most attention.

There are initial rumors that the Minecraft 1.6 update would create new mobs, not only five variants of horses. However, Mojang did not create its own horses, but instead, just copied DrZ's design and mechanics for horses.

Though there are some users complaining about the additional steps that need to be performed to get Minecraft 1.6 download, the new launcher included in Minecraft 1.6 update poses some benefits like ability to have multiple profiles which can launch various version of the game.  According to The Examiner, the new launcher will also be necessary for future updates.

A number of users commented about the graphics and game for Minecraft 1.6 update, saying that the designs are too complex. They also shared that it should have stayed in Mo' Creates. There were also bugs reported as experienced by those who got the Minecraft 1.6 update download.
