SubPop 2013 First Place Losers Free Compilation Released [VIDEO]; Tracks from Postal Service, Mudhoney; Label brought Nirvana to rest of America

SubPop 2013 First Place Losers free compilation was released July 1.  SubPop is the label that brought Nirvana's first album Bleach to the masses, so there are sure to be songs on there for fans of the Pacific Northwest sound. The Sub Pop 2013 First Place Losers free compilation has tracks from many under-the-radar bands, including Survival Knife and Goat.  The SubPop 2013 First Place Losers free compilation has 13 tracks in all.

The Postal Service, a band with Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, has a remastered version of their classic track "Such Great Heights".  Ben Gibbard once dated Zooey Deschanel.

Mudhoney, a band formed in Seattle in 1988, also has a track on the album.  Entitled "I like it Small", it is a new Mudhoney release.
