Diane Kruger And Joshua Jackson: Getting Engaged Soon? Late Night Skinny-Dipping And Therapy Helps Their Seven-Year Relationship

Diane Kruger talks about her relationship with Joshua Jackson and the work that goes behind it. She reveals the secrets of her commitment to Joshua.

The 36-year-old German-born actress has been dating "Fringe" star Joshua Jackson for seven years. She explains the reality of relationships in a Marie Claire interview, and admits that they aren't easy.

Diane reveals that therapy is very important to the happy couple.

"All relationships are hard. It doesn't matter what job you have, or how famous or miserable or poor you are. 

"It's about commitment. I'm grateful that I met a person who feels the same about me, but also about our relationship. But therapy helps too."

According to The Daily Mail, Diane has relationship therapy as well as regular sessions with a counselor. She said in Europe, particularly Paris and Germany, people are less comfortable with the idea of therapy.

"My friends ask, what's wrong with you?" she said. "But here everyone talks about it, and I really like that about America.

"Therapy's not about getting help; it's facilitating yourself to deal better with life in general," the actress explained.

Another secret to their successful long-term relationship? Skinny-dipping! Kruger says that the couple lives "in the middle of nowhere." Diane said she loves to escape to their isolated home where the couple have fun with some late night skinny-dipping, EntertainmentWise.com reports.

"Look, it gets so hot in the summer, it's like 80 degrees at night, and you're in the middle of nature," she joked, "Wouldn't you?"

The interview makes it seem as though Diane and Josh are happier than ever since getting together in 2006, and this may be the perfect time to get engaged.

However, fans shouldn't jump the gun. Despite the recent rumors, a source told E! News that the couple have "no plans" to wed.
