Kate Middleton Baby Gift: Pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge Receives Condoms Ahead Of Due Date In Care Package From Finland; Is Royal Baby In Danger?
Kate Middleton receives an interesting baby gift just days before her due date. The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge received a baby care package from Finland, to celebrate before her due date on July 13.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the Finnish social security office, Kela, sent Kate Middleton a care package with some very interesting gifts inside. She received leggings, a snowsuit, a hooded bath towel, a hairbrush, diaper rash cream, a teething toy, and a picture book, according to The Mirror.
But the most surprising gift in the care package was condoms!
According to The Mirror, the interesting combination of items in the package is given to all expectant moms in Finland.
"We were delighted to receive the very kind gift of the maternity package from the Finnish government," stated an official statement released from Kensington Palace after Kate received the gifts. "It was a very thoughtful gesture and we're very grateful for it. I'm sure the Duke and Duchess will be very interested to see the contents."
A family source told Us Weekly that Kate is "feeling great" amid the pregnancy.
"She's full of energy and really rather used to the bump!" the source added.
In other Kate Middleton baby news, the former bodyguard for Princess Diana and Prince William's childhood bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, warned that Kate's baby could be in danger in these troubling time, HollywoodLife.com reports.
"Kate's baby could be in danger. Given the political state of the world and the vulnerability of the royals, they need a lot of protection," Wharfe said in an interview with Look magazine. "In this terror-ridden world of ours, there's a real risk of kidnap for this child."
Ken also said that the new royal baby will be in much more danger than William was when he was a child. "The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 20 years ago, when we would take William and Harry out," he said.
