Britney Spears: `Ooh La La’ Just the Beginning; Producer Says New Album has `Songs to Die For’ As Britney Spears Screams and Shouts In Las Vegas Residency

Britney Spears’ “Ooh La La” was just a teaser for a great and personal album. The new Britney Spears album has “songs to die for,” says her producer. Britney Spears tweets great things are on the way. Spears will be working with the man who produced her idol Madonna, William Obit.

Britney Spears may scream and shout about the new record, but she is getting it ready. Britney Spears Twitter says her “Womanizer” is going stronger than ever and the 31-year-old pop star is also getting ready to take up a new residency in Las Vegas. Britney Spears’ new album will be her eighth outing from the studio and it is being produced by British producer William Obit. Obit got so excited he spilled all over Facebook. The new Britney Spears album is due out later this year.

Orbit wrote, "Going to cut vocals in LA with Britney in a few weeks. We've songs to die for."

Last month Spears dished about how ecstatic she was to be working with Orbit to Ryan Seacrest, saying “I’ve never worked with him before so I’m really, really excited.”

The new Britney Spears album will also feature some production by Will.I.Am, who told Billboard "Before we even start we've had these juicy sessions, where we've been bonding, building the trust and comfort. I've never worked like this before – not even the Peas."

The Toxic singer will be recording while she ticks down the months until she is expected to open a residency in Las Vegas. Gossip has it that the former Mouseketeer will be playing a Caesar property, but she hasn’t made any announcement yet.

But she tweeted:
