J. Cole ‘Born Sinner’ Set To Top Album Charts; Releases New Free Song “Winter Schemes” With Wale [LISTEN]; Kanye’s ‘Yeezus’ To Slip To No. 2

J. Cole's "Born Sinner" album debuted at the No. 2 spot on Billboard's 200 chart, but is predicted to outsell Kanye's "Yeezus" next week to bring it to top the album chart. J. Cole also collaborated with Wale and released the single "Winter Schemes" for free download.

"Winter Schemes" is the duo's fourth collaboration, DirectLyrics.com reports. "Winter Schemes" is a soulful song and free for fans to enjoy. The tune is produced by Jake One.

In "Winter Schemes," Cole raps about the hard realities of fame in his youth: "I'm sorry, brand new Ferrari/But really though I'm fronting/Don't really mind discussing/That Bugatti in that Beyonce video was just for stuntin'."

Cole also admits that it's not an easy road to success and that a lot of pressure sits on his shoulders: "Scared to mash the gas/Cause if I f***** around and crashed that would have been my a**/That whip is 'bout a million cash/And dog, I just got rich..."

In the song, Wale raps about his efforts to separate himself from the slew of other famous singers and creating real friendships in the music industry: "Got me a Rihanna feature, ya'll should see my demographic... I'm tryna shed a bunch a light in a country where n***** follow models and hype."

The other three songs Wale and J. Cole have made together are "Beautiful Bliss," "You Got It," and "Bad Girl's Club."

Wale's album "The Gifted" opened at No. 1 on the album chart last month. 

Wale has also confirmed Cole will be producing on his next Jerry Seinfeld-assisted album, according to DirectLyrics.com.
