The Walking Dead Season 4 Cast Update [SPOILERS]: New Series Regulars, New Faces, And New Deaths

As AMC's "The Walking Dead" gets ready to premiere season four later this year, a slew of cast updates have been leaked, with new regulars, new characters, and most definitely, new deaths.

As The Stir reports, several recurring characters have received the series regular bump, including the Governor (David Morrisey), Tyreese (Chad Coleman), his sister Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), and Beth (Emily Kinney).

In a show with a constantly revolving cast, no doubt this change is due to the season three exits of Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies), Andrea (Laurie Holden), and Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker).

But don't worry, Rick, Glenn, Carl, Maggie, Hersherl, and Michonne will all be back, although who knows for how long.

In addition, spoilers report that "The Walking Dead" season four will cast a host of new characters.

Jack and Erin will join "The Walking Dead" in episode 4, titled "Indifference." They are descried as 20s and "extremely thin."

Don is an older man between 50 and 70 who also has a granddaughter. Danny Vinson has been cast in the role, who is set to be introduced in episode 6, "Rise."

Also in "Rise," we are getting a pair of female characters, a mother and nurse named Laura, and a "tough and funny" woman named Melody.

Do I smell Lori and Andrea replacements?

Although the verdict is still out on whether any of these characters will stick around, season four of "The Walking Dead" will surely bring a new host of deaths.

Be sure to catch "The Walking Dead" season four this October when it returns.
