Cube World Download: Voxel-Based RPG‘s Shop Still Closed Due To DDoS Attacks; Get Gameplay Tips And Guide [VIDEO]

Technically, Cube World download is already available; however, the game servers were experiencing issues due to DDoS attacks. This unfortunately made Cube World download's shop to be closed temporarily.

Last week, the paid alpha access for Cube World download was released online, but successfully purchasing the game had been a rocky experience for gamers. Initially, Wollay Funck, the developer of Cube World, thought that the issue with the servers was coming from the huge number of gamers who were trying to acquire the game at once.

However, the game creator recently discovered that someone is trying to sabotage their business by disrupting the process for Cube World download. Funck told Kotaku, "Initially we assumed the fault was on our side, like our download/updating system could be broken, so we closed the sale and improved our system. But it turned out that all these problems were the result of DdoS attacks. It seems that someone is trying to systematically damage us and our business. The attacks usually occur during evening/night as soon as we open our store or user registrations. The attackers obviously want to prevent us from selling our game."

Because of this, the store for Cube World download and the user registration system are currently closed while Wollay and the team are trying to fix the problems.

For the meantime, while the Cube World download servers are still down and ardent gamers could not get the alpha version of the highly anticipated voxel-based RPG title yet, fans can use this time to learn more about the game.
