Maria Sharapova Boyfriend: Serena Williams’ Ex A Heartbreaker? Grigor Dimitrov Made Former Girlfriend 'Give Up On Dating'

Serena Williams said that her ex-boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov, Maria Sharapova's current boyfriend, said the Bulgarian tennis star has a black heart and that he made her lose hope on dating.

"I've given up on dating," she said in May of 2012, according to the New York Daily News.

"The last relationship was just too much of a heartbreak for me. I have to remove myself from that atmosphere for about the next decade or so."

But Maria Sharapova's boyfriend and Serena Williams didn't seem too hurt by their breakup since they have both moved on and have decided to date new people.

Serena Williams is rumored to be in a romance with her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, and Maria Sharapova is officially dating Grigor Dimitrov.

Maria Sharapova has been known for her dedication to her boyfriend, even at the expense of her own tennis career.

Several reports revealed last week that Maria Sharapova lost in the second round at Wimbledon 2013 because she was in love with Grigor Dimitrov, Annebel Croft, a former tennis player, tells The Telegraph.

"Sharapova is in love," Croft said.

"After she lost to Michelle Larcher de Brito, who was ranked 131, she spoke beautifully, with good grace and humility, and was much less upset that I would have expected."

Although Maria Sharapova made an early exit at the Wimbledon 2013, she cheered on boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov during the men's singles match between the Bulgarian tennis star and Grega Zemlja of Slovenia.
