Eminem New Album 2013 Details Slipping Out of the Shade; Will Be a “Detroit Classic”

Eminem’s new album 2013 is well on its way to being finished. Eminem has been busy recording, when he’s not planning his upcoming European mini-tour. Insiders have been dropping hints about Eminem’s new album and what Eminem’s fans can expect to hear from the rapper.

Fans have been waiting for Eminem’s upcoming eighth studio album to drop, as one after another deadline has passed. Eminem’s new album was supposed to be released July 2 and now rumors have Eminem’s new album coming out sometime in the fall.

Eminem’s new album is definitely slated to be released sometime in 2013. Paul Rosenberg, who co-founded Shady Records, told Billboard magazine in February that Eminem was "far into the process" of recording the album and that Shady has " been working on it for some time." At the time of the interview, Rosenberg said Eminem’s new album would be released shortly after Memorial Day.

Slim Shady’sfriend and producer, Denaun Porter, known just as Mr. Porter, has said that the album promises to be very different than any other Eminem album. Mr. Porter tweeted in June about the new Eminem that we "Have not heard anything like it."

In June, Eminem’s DJ, Alchemist, promised MTV that Slim Shady fans won’t be disappointed because of Eminem’s “caliber and what he does.” He said the album is "clearly going to further territories."

The comedian and actor Chris Rock came on board for Eminem’s new album. Chris Rock tweeted a picture back in May that had the caption, "in the studio with Em don't sleep." Eminem also brought Big Sean into the studio for a collaboration. Big Sean put a picture of himself in the studio with Eminem on Instagram in April. Big Sean told MTV News in June, "You might get it from my album, you may get it from his album, you may get it a little later. We've got to work all that out." Big Sean promised that the song would be a "Detroit classic."
