ESPN Body Issue 2013: Features Nude Athletes Including Kerri Walsh Jennings Baby, Before And After Pregnancy; Gary Player Oldest Athlete Ever In Magazine

ESPN's Body Issue 2013 will be available on Friday, July 12. This year's issue features nude athletes, including Kerri Walsh Jennings' baby and her before and after pregnancy pictures, and Gary Player, the oldest athlete to be photographed in the Body Issue.

This year's issue is the fifth annual Body Issue by ESPN and allows readers to "admire the vast potential of the human form" and "to unapologetically stand in awe of the athletes who've pushed their physiques to profound frontiers," UPI reports.

The magazine lets readers know that "it's okay to stare."

The 2013 Body Issue features many athletes, including famed and much-loved Olympian Beach volleyball champion Kerri Walsh Jennings. The 34-year-old gold medalist posed nude twice for the edition: one picture taken is of her when she was nine months pregnant and another of her right after her third child was born, The Inquisitr reports.

In the first photo, Jennings stands confidently with her large baby bump. In the second, she is also nude, and holding her infant baby against her body, wearing nothing but a proud smile.

"For the first shoot, I was very pregnant, and that wasn't as scary," Jennings said. "I thought it would be, because I was big and rotund when I'm usually the opposite, but it was really comfortable because I felt almost like I was in costume...

"But for the second, I was two and a half months out from having a baby. I'm supposed to be tight and toned and strong, but I have a lot more work to do," she continued.

Another surprising photo was of 77-year-old golfer Gary Player. The three-time Masters champion is the oldest athlete to ever pose nude for the Body Issue, USA Today reports.

A few other athletes featured in this year's issue are driver Courtney Froce, NBA guard John Wall, X Games rider Tarah Gieger, boxer Marlen Esparza, Denver Nugget Kenneth Faried, UFC's fighter Miesha Tate, UPI reports.
