Demi Lovato Annoyed At X Factor USA 2013 Auditions Quote: Justin Bieber Diss Explained As Fifth Harmony Covers Cher Lloyd
"The X Factor USA" has not even begun their new season and drama is already erupting, both good and bad.
During the 2013 auditions, returning judge Demi Lovato came under fire for her comment regarding Justin Bieber.
Following a contestant's audition of "As Long As You Love Me," she said, "Well, finally someone can sing the song the way it was meant to be sung!"
Initially reported as a Bieber diss, Lovato has since clarified her comment during auditions on Twitter.
Btw - no shade thrown at Justin. So many people audition with his songs.. Finally someone sang it the way it was meant to be sung..

Reportedly, Lovato even explained the quote during auditions, but that portion was cut out.
"What they didn't put in the tabloids is that I actually turned around 'cause the audience was like, 'Oooh' and I was like 'Actually, guys, you took me the wrong way,'" explained Lovato to CapitalFM.
"I actually explained myself right then and there, but they didn't put that on TMZ."
But "The X Factor USA" also has some heartwarming and positive news, with Fifth Harmony debuting their single "Miss Movin' On" and even performing a cover of "The X Factor UK" alum Cher Lloyd's hit song "Want U Back."
The two "X Factor" alum acts will tour together next.
