Jay-Z Reveals Fatherhood Has 'Changed Me,' Rapper Responds To Beyonce Surrogate Rumors; Is Beyonce Pregnant Again

Jay-Z opened up about fatherhood in a candid interview with New York radio station Power 105.1 on Wednesday.
In 2012 the hip hop mogul, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and his wife Beyonce, 31, welcomed the birth of their first child, Blue Ivy, and the rapper revealed that fatherhood has indeed changed his life.

"I hope I'm great, but I'm learning. It's a new thing for me," Jay-Z told the Breakfast Club.

"[Fatherhood] has changed me in a way that...just knowing what's important... but I had a pretty good sense of that. It just reaffirmed all things that I believed I knew," he continued adding "It's hard man, it's difficult."

Months before Beyonce gave birth naturally to baby Blue, the Grammy award-winning singer was mired in controversy over speculation that she faked her pregnancy and used a surrogate.

Beyonce took part in a candid interview with Australian DJ Molly Meldrum and footage of her stomach seemingly folding immediately went viral, which triggered the rumor and Jay-Z touched on how this affected what should have been a "joyous" time for the couple.

"That's probably the most ridiculous thing I ever heard and the fact that people were really running with that...at first I thought it was one of those get-press things like 'let's run with this for press' and then I was slowly like 'oh ya'll believe this...ya'll really believe this?'" Jay-Z said about the surrogate rumors.

"...That's really messed up because that's the time that you're meant to be most joyous you know you got life and the whole thing [is] supposed to be a joyous time...whether you say you care about it or not is annoying...and you shouldn't really have to deal with that as a human being but you know that's the position that we're in," he explained. "No matter how many times you say 'Beyonce's pregnant!' people are gonna believe what they want to believe."

But the pregnancy rumors are popping up again with stories speculating pregnancies twice since Blue Ivy was born. The most recent occurred when Beyonce showed up to the MET gala in a gown that protruded a bit around the mid section. Jay denied that she was pregnant, but it wasn't until he and Beyoncé shared a photo of her drinking wine that people accepted that she was not expecting baby No. 2.

Beyonce and JayZ always deal with rumors

"It doesn't matter how many times you [refute or confirm a story],' people gonna believe what they want to believe anyway. So, why waste my time," he said.

Jay-Z, 43, is currently prompting his 12th studio album "Magna Carter Holy Grail," which immediately went platinum after it's July 4 release. In a rare show of emotion the Grammy-award winning artist opens up about his 1-year-old daughter on track twelve, "Jay-Z Blue."
