Nicki Minaj Responds To DJ Khaled Marriage Proposal: [VIDEO] 'I Was Shocked, He Doesn't Like Me' Have The Two Talked Yet?

Nicki Minaj responds to DJ Khaled's marriage proposal via an interview on Hot 97 in NYC Monday night. The Pink Friday rapper admitted she was shocked, but took it with a grain of salt.

Last Thursday, DJ Khaled had a public marriage proposal to Nicki Minaj with a video that aired on MTV News. In the video, he takes out a $500,000 engagement ring that he wants the "Starships" singer to wear one day.

The video went viral and since its airing, it has become a hot topic on if it was real, which the "We the Best" disc jockey said was serious days after. The world has also been waiting on a response from Nicki Minaj to DJ Khaled's proposal.

"I was shocked just like the rest of the world and I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world 'cause Khaled is a master at what he does," Minaj said Monday on Funkmaster Flex's radio program on Hot 97 in NYC.

She also admitted that she hasn't personally spoke to him personally about the proposal or the video itself.

"Nobody in my real life took it seriously. Everybody just hit me like, 'LOL. Yo, Khaled is crazy.' Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll," she told Flex. "Please let it go. He was kidding. He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister."

According to the Cash Money artist herself, she said that the fellow Cash Money artist was promoting himself and his upcoming album, "Suffering From Success."

"It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record," Minaj said.
