Eminem New Album 2013 Isn’t Finished; Eminem in MTV Tweet War With Justin Bieber; Bieber Blows Eminem Rap in Detroit

Eminem’s new album for 2013 isn’t ready yet. Mr. Potter, Eminem’s hype man told fans on Twitter “not to rush art.” Mr. Potter also tweeted that he will join Eminem when he’s on his mini-tour of Europe in August. Eminem hasn’t said whether he’ll be doing U.S. shows yet, but he’s up against some of music’s biggest stars in England in the MTV United Kingdom's "Hottest Summer Superstar" contest.

Eminem ranked No. 9 in fan tweets this morning, right behind Katy Perry, The Wanted, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato, Lady Gagy and Justin Bieber, who recently tried to do an Eminem rap in Slim Shady’s backyard, Detroit. One Direction holds the number one spot. Eminem pulled in 1,125,410 fan tweets and One Direction's fans tweeted 15,999,098 times.

According to the MTV UK website, the contest is "MTV's panel of music experts have hand picked 50 of this summer's "hottest" music artists. From the shortlist below simply tweet #MTVHottest followed by the name of the artist you want to vote for and see them battle it out in our live leaderboard!Voting is based on hashtag tweet volume and closes August 18. The winner will be revealed August 31 on MTV Music."
This weekend Justin Bieber tried his hand at rapping. Selena Gomez’s boyfrind chose the Eminem song “Lose Yourself” and promptly forgot all the lyrics. Eminem has insulted other musicians for less than that in his rap, including Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Eminem fans can now hold out hope that Slim Shady will immortalize the Detroit dis on his new album.
Justin Bieber’s song choice, “Lose Yourself,” was off the soundtrack to Eminem’s hit movie “8 Mile.” At Justin Bieber’s Sunday night concert in Eminem’s home town, Selena Gomez’s boyfriend showed why the Bieb is still learning to rap. He may play dozens of instruments, but shouldn’t paint himself a shade of Eminem while playing the Motor City.
Justin Bieber’s rap cover of the Eminem hit only lasted 25 seconds, but the audience at a sold out show at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, on July 28 who came to see his “Believe Tour” found a reason to disbelieve. Eminem should at the very least, take a page out of Nicki Minaj’s book and put a restraining order on The Bieber barring him from attempting an Eminem tribute. Or mockery. The Bieb didn’t know the lyrics. The 19-year-old singer has long boasted his love of rap, but he couldn’t even get through the opening lines of the 2002 hit.

Eminem has already lashed out at the Bieb in his 2011 “A Kiss,” rhyming “Him don’t give a damn about Bieber, do Him? / What a demon, a behemoth, evil just seems to be seeping through him.”
After his 18-song show, Bieber told the 20,000 people assembled, “Thank you for believing in me. And I believe in you!”
But Eminem fans still can’t believe what Bieber did to the song.
Eminem’s new album will come out some time later this year. He’s done some work in the meantime on albums by Skyler Grey and Big Sean. He also announced a mini-tour of Europe. Hear the real thing. Here are the dates.
