Rumors of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber getting back together are intensifying after the couple was spotted kissing at her 21st birthday and now speculation suggests the "Heartbreaker" singer will be her date at the Young Hollywood Awards, where she will be honored for her new album.

However, new information also reveals the couple is not back together. 

"Selena invited him," a source who attended Selena Gomez's birthday party told Us Weekly. "It was sweet that he came. They are just friends, but it goes back and forth."

The recently revealed information leaves fans wondering whether the couple will ever get back together following their breakup.

The "Heartbreaker" singer flew out across the country for Selena Gomez's big day and joined her along with her closest friends.

"She was all over him," an insider told HollywoodLife.
