Harry Styles ‘Regrets’ Tattoos, One Direction Singer Calls Them ‘Crap,’ But May Get More On His Back To Even Out ‘Front-Heavy’ Tatts

One Direction singer Harry Styles has admitted that he regrets many of his famous tattoos, but that won't stop him from getting more.

"I regret this one on my wrist here. I regret this. I mean, these are just crap," Harry told We Love Pop.

"There are some that my friends have done and some that are just awful," he added.

The 19-year-old pop star was referring to a padlock tattoo designed and etched into his arm by fellow U.K. singer Ed Sheeran. Some fans have said the tatt looks more like a miniature handbag.

Even Harry's mom doesn't approve of his obsession with getting new ink.

"She doesn't not like them, but I always used to wear long sleeves when I went round. She doesn't get that mad - she's not like that - but she will say, 'That's enough now,'" Harry said.

Harry is said to have the biggest collection of body ink out of all the One Direction members, with around 40 tattoos, Hello! magazine reports, including a butterfly on his torso, two birds on his chest and a ship on his arm. Last month the 1D star debuted a fresh inking on his right foot reading "Never Gonna Dance Again."

But Harry isn't gonna stop there.

His favorite tattoo artist, Los Angeles' Freddy Negrete, recently revealed that Styles is now planning to get a huge design on his back, according to Now magazine.

"He's getting worried they're all too front-heavy so it's definitely his back we'll be concentrating on," Freddy, 56, told the Daily Star.

"The whole thing could take months."
