Lea Michele First Pictures Since Boyfriend Cory Monteith's Death [VIDEO]; Glee Star Twitter Thanks Fans; "Cory Will Forever Be In My Heart"

Lea Michele was seen out for the first time since boyfriend Cory Monteith's death of a drug overdose.   The couple, who were both cast members on the hit Fox TV show Glee, were reported to be moving towards marriage.   Lea Michele played Rachel Berry on Glee, and Cory Monteith played Finn Hudson.  In the wake of the tragic drug overdose, Cory Monteith's role will have to be killed off on the series.

Lea Michele was seen wearing dark sunglasses and a necklace that said Cory. 

Lea Michele's Twitter account had been dormant since the terrible news about boyfriend Cory Monteith, but she finally broke her silence to tweet her thanks to her fans: "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart."

Lea Michele learned of the news of boyfriend Cory Monteith's while on a night out.  A source told People magazine: "Lea started screaming, she was distraught. No one knew what to say. It was horrible. She couldn't believe it"

Us Weekly sources told the publication: ""Lea completely lost her mind. She went crazy, screaming and crying until 3 a.m. Lea has been inconsolable and feels like she's been hit by a truck. She didn't know he'd started using again."

"She's been talking with Cory's family the entire time and wants to plan the whole funeral...Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together."

Glee creator Ryan Murphy said of Lea Michele's grief: ""Lea is obviously very grief-stricken but she's also one of the strongest people I know.  She wants people to be better and get back to work. So that's what we're going to do."
