A leaked firmware which is claimed to be an official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update can now be installed on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.

According to International Business Times, the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware with build number XXCMG2 was leaked for the international Wi-fi variant of one of Samsung's new product, the Galaxy Note 8.0, specifically with model number GT-N5110. The tablet originally runs Android 4.1.2.

The South Korean smartphone maker has not been delivering any official information yet regarding the alleged official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note 8.0.

There isn't actually a huge list of changes noticed in the leaked firmware of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean updates. However, some reports were telling that after updating Galaxy Note 8.0 with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update XXCMG2, the tablet rendered faster performance and improvement on the battery life.
