Cross Map reported about a recent statement from CEO Tim Cook which probably may have hinted about iPad 5 release date. According to Cook, "Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can't wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014." To support this, Apple CFO also said during the company's earnings report that the Cupertino-based tech firm will have a "very busy fall," sharing that he would explain more in October.
Based from these revelations from Apple executives, some experts are thinking that the iPad 5 is one of the new hardware products that will be revealed this fall. Well, does this mean that fans will be seeing an iPad 5 release date fixed for fall or more particularly, sometime in October?
Aside from iPad 5 release date, the iOS device enthusiasts are also excited about the changes and improvements that will be made for the upcoming Apple tablet. According to States Chronicle, iPad 5 may be thinner than the 4th generation iOS tablet because of the new touchscreen technology it will utilized. The predecessor models of iPad devices were using G/G technology.
Reportedly, iPad 5 specs will include GF2 touchscreen display technology, the one responsible for the highly-anticipated slimmer and lighter design of the device. It is also the same technology used for iPad Mini 2. Furthemore, the 9.7 inch Apple iOS tablet will sport a display screen emitting 2048x1536 resolution and 264ppi of pixel density.
Furthermore, other rumored iPad 5 specs include 8MP rear camera, better processor and wider range of storage capacity starting from 16GB up to 126GB.
