iPhone 6 Release Date September or Earlier Than Expected; Next-Gen Apple Phone May Have 4.8 To 6-Inch Screen To Compete With Samsung Phablets?

iPhone 6 release date rumors were suggesting for a September launch for the highly-anticipated next-gen iOS smartphone.

For instance, a German blog site, iFun, shared that iPhone 6 release date is set for September 6. The post shared that there will be two new iOS devices that will be made available that day and experts were thinking that one of these is the iPhone 6.

Moreover, rumors also say that there is a possibility for iPhone 6 release date to be set for September 2, which happens to be the US Labor Day because the final iOS 7 version will already be set for launch by that time.

Meanwhile, International Business Times just posted an article saying that iPhone 6 release date may be set sooner than what is expected, as it rush towards the demand of the phablet, especially since its rival company, Samsung, is currently dominating the market. It is speculated that the iPhone 6 may have the specs of a 'phablet' with its display screen possibly measuring from 4.8 inches up to 6 inches.

Recent market study revealed that large-screen smartphones, especially those that were manufactured by Samsung were attracting more attention from the consumers rather than the standard-sized mobile phones which Apple "insists is the optimal for mobile phones." Because of the change in market demand, this may be the best time to upgrade the designs for their Apple iOS phone and embrace the 'phablet' fever through the iPhone 6.

Furthermore, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, did not refute the possibility that the Cupertino-based tech firm will stretch the screen sizes of their Apple phone which is currently seen on the iPhone 5. The IBTimes posted, "Mr Cook hinted in earlier interviews that so long as technology trade-offs are addressed, bigger-sized iPhones are not totally impossible."

Expect more iPhone 6 release date rumors to fly around the online world in the coming days or weeks.
