Michael Jackson Civil Trial Update [VIDEO]: Did Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson Save Their Father From Overdose? Security Worker Testifies About Thriller Singer's Drug Use
The Michael Jackson Civil Trial continues with the testimony of a security worker, Michael La Perruque, about Michael Jackson's prescription drug use.
Michael La Perruque said that the singer's children called 911 during a trip to Florida in 2001 or 2002 after their father collapsed in a hallway in a hotel suite at Walt Disney World. Michael Jackson is the father of Paris Jackson, Prince Jackson, and Blanket Jackson.
Paris Jackson is dealing with a recent suicide attempt and according to a source has difficulty with the Michael Jackson civil trial: "She [Paris Jackson] can't be near that trial or hear the horrible things being said about Michael. He was a saint to her, and she doesn't believe anything bad about her father. She gets so distraught when she hears that stuff."
Perruque said that during the incident, he found Jackson unconscious, revived him before paramedics arrived. He said he never saw any signs of drugs or alcohol that the singer may have taken. He said paramedics checked out the Thriller singer and determined he didn't need further medical attention.
La Perruque stopped working for Jackson in 2004. However, La Perruque returned to employment with Michael Jacson to oversee his security in late 2007. La Perruque said he didn't see any signs that Jackson was impaired during the months he worked for him again.
La Perruque said he last saw Jackson two weeks prior to singer's death and that he had looked fine. However, he noticed that his former boss was skinnier than usual.
La Perruque said he spoke to two of Jackson's doctors about his concern regarding the singer's prescription drug use. He never spoke directly about it to Jackson as he didn't want Jackson to become defensive.
La Perruque said: "It was my concern that he may overdose."
