Robert Pattinson And Riley Keough Dating: ‘Hanging Out And Hooking Up,’ But Are Rob's Trust Issues Stopping Their Relationship From Getting Serious?

Robert Pattinson and Riley Keough have been hanging out and dating recently, but sources say the relationship is casual. When will their relationship become official and Riley will be Pattinson's new girlfriend?

Us Weekly revealed in the Aug. 5 issue that the 27-year-old "Twilight" actor has been "hanging out and hooking up" with Riley Keough, whom he met through her mom, Lisa Marie Presley.

"She's the first girl he's liked since Kristen," one insider says of Keough, 24, the granddaughter of the late Elvis Presley, Us reports. "[They're] having a lot of fun."

Another source told HollywoodLife.com that, "At this point Rob's just going to focus on making great cinema and hanging out with his friends."

"He's told friends that during a different time and different circumstances, they could make it work," the source added.

So when will the couple become more serious? There were reports that Riley and Rob were more "friends with benefits" than boyfriend and girlfriend material.

It may take a while, considering a source told HollywoodLife.com that Rob is suffering from trust issues, after he found out Kristen Stewart cheated on him with her married director while they were dating.

"With his schedule and his overall trust issues with girls due to his celebrity and what Kristen did to him, he and Riley are nothing more than friends with benefits," a source says. 

So maybe if Riley can help Rob heal, they can head towards a more official status.

Robert recently was filming his upcoming drama "Map To The Stars" in Toronto, Canada.
