Robert Pattinson New Girlfriend is Kristen Stewart's Pal & Elvis' Granddaughter; The Two Women Face Off At Joan Jett Concert
After officially splitting up with his on and off screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart in May due to the unability to get over her cheating ways, Robert Pattinson has recently been seen cuddling up to his ex's gal pal Riley Keough, the granddaughter of the legendary Elvis Presley.
Prior to being linked to the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, who introduced the two, Robert was reportedly apprehensive about getting back into the dating scene.
"He's scared of meeting anyone new," a close source told Us Magazine following his departure from Stewart. "So many people are after him for the wrong reasons."
Now, it seems like the Twilight saga's Edward is getting his head back in the game, starting with Keough. Only two months back in the single life, the newly bachlor is just looking to have a good time.
According to Us Weekly, Pattinson and the granddaughter of the King of Rock n' Roll are just "hanging out" and "hooking up."
"She's the first girl he's liked since Kristen," one insider says of Keough. "[They're] having a lot of fun."
In the 2010 biopic The Runaways, Riley, 24, starred as female rocker Marie Currie alongside Kristen, 23, who depicted Joan Jett. The two actresses were known to have some type of friendship until now.
Speaking of Joan, Kristen recently attended the rocker's concert in efforts to find happiness despite the recent misfortune she kind of put on herself when committing adultery last year with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
However, Keough's attendance to the same concert put a damper on things. Spotting each other in VIP, onlookers described the face off as awkward.
“It was weird when they saw each other, because Kristen didn’t look very happy when she walked over to give her a hug,” an eyewitness directly told HollywoodLife.com. “Can we say awkward and tense?”
“They spoke for like two minutes and then Riley and her girlfriend walked away,” the source adds. “Kristen watched the show from upstairs and I am pretty sure Riley kept her distance and was watching from downstairs.”
Model Nina Strauss uploaded pictures of the House of Blues event, where Kristen appeared to be enjoying herself regardless of the terrible run-in with her rival.
At least Kristen was able to keep her cool. Ever since her interaction with the paparazzi a couple days ago, she has been credited for having quite the temper.
