Legend Of Korra Creators Featured In SDCC Comic Strip By Faith Erin Hicks: Bryan Konietzko And Michael DiMartino Celebrate Cameo!

It's been some time since San Diego Comic-Con, but "The Legend of Korra" creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino continue to make impressions with their presence.

Recently on their Tumblr, Konietzko and DiMartino showcased a comic strip about Comic-Con by Faith Erin Hicks, a cartoonist whose comic work include "Demonlogy 101," "The Adventures of Superhero Girl," and "Friends With Boys."

"It was *MY* honor to meet Faith Erin Hicks at SDCC, and I am equally honored to be featured in her comic report (she does fantastic comic journalism)," writes Konietzko upon re-sharing the journal comics.

Within the comics, Faith talks about waiting in line to meet "The Legend of Korra" creators.

"The creators of our favorite animated show, "Avatar: The Last Airbender," had a signing at the Dark horse booth. We resolved to be there!" writes Hicks within the comics.

She goes on to talk about being elated by the fact the Konietzko and DiMartino not only remember her, but made her realize she is now a creator as well.

Clearly, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "The Legend of Korra" have inspired more people than simply viewers, but artists and creators as well.
