Breaking Bad Wins TCA Program Of The Year As Fans Prepare For Series Finale With Gambling, iPad Experience, And 'Alchemy'

As "Breaking Bad" prepares for its final season, the groundbreaking series continues to win awards as fans gear up for the series finale with some extracurricular goodies.

Firstly, "Breaking Bad" won the TCA "Program of the Year" Award for the first half of season 5, which is a wonderful set-up as the second half premieres August 11.

Meanwhile, "Breaking Bad" fans have the opportunity to soak in more of the AMC series, with a few fun side excursions.

For one, the new iPad interactive experience is now available for download , titled "Breaking Bad: Alchemy."

"I've spent some time poking around 'Alchemy,' and the amount of material is a little overwhelming. One cool thing is the book will continue to update after the final episodes air, so we'll get to learn more about what I expect will be some pretty crazy plot twists," writes USA Today contributor Whitney Matheson.

Reportedly, "Breaking Bad: Alchemy" includes music guides, quizzes, interviews, and set tours.

"Breaking Bad: Alchemy" is available to download for $7.99.

In addition, a fan-made site called "Betting Bad" is currently taking bets (points, not money) to see who can guess how the final eight "Breaking Bad" episodes will play out.

But as "Breaking Bad" series finale looms closer, it will ultimately be the premiere that will be the biggest fan event.
