With Pharrell's ungoing success in top charting collaborations "Get Lucky" featuring Daft Punk and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," there's no wonder why model and music lover Cara Delevingne called on the dynamic producer to lend her a hand in launching her recording career.

Both influential figures, within their expertise, can be seen warming up to one another on the cover of the new issue of Vogue UK.

An insider told the Daily Mirror that the two automatically had a connection.

“They got on really well and Pharrell has loads of contacts in the industry,” said the source. "He's promised to put in a good word and they're hoping to hook up for a session in the future.”

In the Vogue UK spread, photographed by the infamous David Bailey, Cara and the 40-year-old music genius happened to exude a lot of chemistry in their alluring poses.

Apparently the 20-year-old model made a first impression that became a lasting one because soon after the shoot Pharrell made it his business to contact the Burberry model via Twitter.

The British bred model returned the gratitude by uploading a picture from the shoot on Instagram with the caption : "@british_vogue with the wonderful @pharrell #SeptemberIssue #bluesteel."

Go behind the scenes:

This musical collaboration with the towering supermodel and the above average rhythmically inclined Virginia Beach native might be a professional match made in heaven, because as it turns out Cara can actually sing.

Either way, Delevingne always has an ally in Rita Ora who just dismissed rumors that the to were in a feud.

We can also expect Cara to make her debut in Tinsel Town with a starring role in the upcoming film Kids In Love.
