Once Upon A Time Season 3 Spoilers: Belle The Storybrooke Mayor, Ariel's Connection To The Group, And Henry's Adoption

As "Once Upon A Time" season 3 continues filming, some spoilers have surfaced after an interview with Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, including the fate of Belle, Ariel, Rufio, Regina, and Henry.

During the TV Guide interview, Kitsis and Horowtiz touched on several spoilers, though they ultimately remained vague.

One question that was posed was whether someone will take over being the mayor of Storybrooke.

"I'm not sure that the municipality of Storybrooke is what is first and foremost on the minds of the citizens," says Kitsis.

"We've seen a lot of Twitter fire about maybe Belle will be mayor" teased Horowitz. "She's comptroller while everyone is gone!"

In addition, it appears that not only will Regina get a potential love interest, but Ariel and Tinkerbell might also have a connection to the group.

"It's taking the icon and putting our spin on it," says Horowitz of Tinkerbell. "How we introduce her,and who she is, is hopefully going to be surprising because we're going to find she has a surprising connection to someone at this table."

Given how all the characters are interwoven, the fact that Ariel and Tinkerbell will have a connection to someone we already know on "Once Upon a Time" is to be expected.

And, will Regina find love in season 3?

At the very least, it appears "Once Upon a Time" will introduce a new love interest. But as Kitsis noted, "Will she chose to love is another question."

Henry's adoption storyline with Regina will also be explored, obviously presumably in flashbacks.

And lastly, the recently announced introduction of Rufio as seen in the movie "Hook," will be an entirely different incarnation of the character.

"Rufio belongs to another take on the Pan thing," admitted Horowitz.

"We're not using that character that was created by another world, but we are making a loving nod towards a movie and a mythology that we enjoy. 'Hook' was a movie that we saw when we were younger."
