Nexus 10 2 Release Date Expected Around Christmas [RUMOR]: Google Tablet Launching With Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie

Rumors suggest that Google Nexus 2 release date will be similar to the launch schedule of the latest iteration of Google mobile OS, which is unofficially dubbed as Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

According to a post from Cross Map, Google Nexus 10 2 and Android Key Lime Pie will have the same release date. Even is some experts were not expecting a Nexus 10 2 release date this 2013, recent claims new sources were pointing out a holiday launch for the Google tablet as well as Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

While there is no announcement yet regarding a specific Nexus 10 2 release date aside from the 'near future' statement from a Google executive, reports are suggesting that Samsung is already working on developing the next-generation tablet to make Nexus 10 2 release date in time for the gift-giving season.

The 'near-future' remark about Nexus 10 2 release date came from Sundar Pichai, who is the head of Chrome and Android products for Google. Amir Efrati of Wall Street Journal shared via Twitter interesting information about Nexus 10 2 release date which was revealed by Pichai, during a Google event last month. The executive hinted that Google Nexus 10 2 release date will be 'in the near future.'

Aside from not giving out any further details regarding the official Nexus 10 2 release date, the specs of the 10-inch tablet has also not been confirmed. However, according to rumors, the next-generation tablet will sport a 2560x1600 display resolution and a Snapdragon 800 chipset.
