Minecon 2013 Tickets Sold Out; Online Petition Created Asking Mojang To Sell Passes During The Third All-Things Minecraft Event

Selling of tickets for Minecon 2013 began July 31 and as expected, all the tickets have sold out quick in just a matter of days.

Mojang, the indie game developer of Minecraft announced during the first week of July that Minecon 2013 will be held in Orlando, Florida on November 2 and 3, 2013. And later at the end of the month, just as the game developer promised, ticket sales and hotel booking for Minecon 2013 started. Further details about Minecon 2013 were also revealed including the venue which is on the West Building of Orange County Convention Center.

Mojang decided to sell Minecon 2013 tickets in three batches, "In an effort to be fair to people who have jobs or school and those with different schedules we're releasing tickets in 3 batches to cover different days and times."

Each batch sold 2500 tickets and an individual could buy up to 6 tickets in a single order, to 'to cover families or groups of friends traveling together.' Since Minecon 2013 tickets worth $150 each quickly sell out, unfortunately, there are some fans who were not able to snag a pass for the highly -anticipated event. Some even posted their whines about Eventbrite, the website where Minecon 2013 tickets could be purchased.

In fact, a Minecraft fan created a petition asking Mojang to sell Minecon 2013 tickets at the door. If you also experienced trouble purchasing tickets for the event and if you want to learn more about the petition, you can support the campaign from Change.org titled "MineCon 2013 Ticket Failure Mojang AB - MineCon 2013 Ticket Failure: Sell Minecon 2013 tickets at the door!

"There will of course be panels from Mojang and many community members, an awesome tradeshow where you can check out cool products and services revolving around Minecraft, and of course lots of Minecraft merchandise for sale.
