American Horror Story Coven [UPDATE]: Voodoo Against Salem Witches, Season 3 Premiere Title, And More Set Photos!

As "American Horror Story: Coven" kicks into high gear with filming, more spoilers have surfaced regarding the season 3 plot, premiere title, and of course, the witches.

During a recent Emmy event, a Vulture reporter spoke to creator Ryan Murphy about the upcoming season.

"It really is about the witches of Salem pitted against voodoo witches," said Murphy. "It's been a centuries-long feud and it's up to Jessica Lange and Angela Bassett to mend the fence."

"The witches of Salem, the smart ones, got out very early and they were none of the ones who were burned. They all gravitated toward New Orleans, where they now live, and every generation has a great witch who has the most powers of them all, and that's called the Supreme. Ms. Jessica Lange is the Supreme."

Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange will be playing mother and daughter in season 3, according to Yahoo! News. Lange's character is named Fiona, while Paulson's character is named Cordelia. Angela Bassett will take on the role of voodoo priestess Marie Laveau for "American Horror Story: Coven."

In addition, it looks like "American Horror Story: Coven" premiere episode will be titled "Bitchcraft," while the second and third season 3 episodes will be named "Boy Parts" and "Replacements."

"American Horror Story: Coven" is set to premiere October 9, and season 3 will have a massive cast with Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Francis Conroy, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Denis O'Hare, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Jamie Brewer, and Taissa Farmiga.

And as "American Horror Story" season 3 continues filming, more cast sightings have been confirmed with set photos, including Denis O'Hare and Lily Rabe.
