Big Bang’s G-Dragon Is Sad Because ‘Bbo Bbo Bbo’ Is Ending

Big Bang's G-Dragon revealed on Twitter that he's saddened by MBC 'Bbo Bbo Bbo' (aka 'Kiss Kiss') finally coming to an end.

On August 5, upon hearing about the show's ending, G-Dragon tweeted a sweet good-bye using the show's theme song, 'When we meet we greet each other we say Bbo Bbo Bbo. When we part we say good bye with Bbo Bbo Bbo. I don't know why I'm so sad. Sigh. Anyway, see you Bbo Bbo Bbo.' It's understandable G-Dragon felt this way since he once featured on this show as a youngster.

MBC announced that MBC's 'Bbo Bbo Bbo' will air its final episode on August 7 with its 7754th showing. The show has a history of 32 years, not to mention Wang Young Eun and Na Kyung Eun's roles on the show as 'Bbo Mi.' There are even quite a few antagonist stars that had their first appearance on TV through the show.

An MBC official stated, 'Since the overall learning environment is going through changes, we thought that the current early childhood education programs should have a makeover too. This is why we are closing the curtains for 'Bbo Bbo Bbo' and planning to start 'Ddok? Ddok! Kids' School' as part of our makeover.'

This new show will air on August 12 with news anchorwoman Lee Jung Min as the MC. One of its purposes is to help make early childhood gifted education available to anyone who watches the show.

Netizens have commented, 'I can understand G-Dragon. As someone part of the Bbo Bbo Bbo generation I'm going to miss it too. How much more for G-Dragon who actually starred on the show,' 'Bbo Bbo Bbo's history is quite long, seeing how G-Dragon starred on the show,' and 'G-Dragon must be sad to see them end.'
