Taylor Lautner Dating Marie Avgeropoulos: Instagram Photos Confirm ‘Twilight’ Actor Girlfriend Is His Canadian Co-Star, But Just A Summer Fling?

Taylor Lautner was spotted holding hands with Marie Avgeropoulos in New York City on Saturday, August 3, talking and laughing with each other. The photos confirm that Taylor and his "Tracers" co-star are dating and have gone public with their relationship.

Lautner, 21, was wearing a blue University of Michigan hoodie with a matching hat, and his new girlfriend, 27, was wearing gray skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and jean jacket, Fashion & Style reports. Both were also rocking shades.

Taylor Lautner posted a photo on his Instagram account on August 4, as he and Marie look sweetly into each other's eyes with a black-and-white filter.

The pair went public with their romance on July 29 after they were spotted holding hands and taking selfies on their phones together, Fashion & Style reports. Marie also posted a picture on her Instagram, of her and Lautner's chairs on the set of "Tracers."

"She's totally his type and he's really excited about her," a source close to Lautner toldHollywoodLife.com.

However, the source says their relationship may just be a summer fling.

"Taylor's having a great time with Marie," the source said.

"But I doubt it will last after they finish the movie," the source continued. "My guess is that this will be a fun summer fling for Taylor because his number one priority is his career. He is extremely driven and ambitious and wants to become the biggest action star in the world."

According to HollywoodLife.com, Taylor plays a bike messenger in "Tracers," who is being chased by the mafia. In the film, he falls in love with a beautiful stranger, played by Marie.
