George W. Bush Hospitalized To Fix A Problem With His Heart: It Went As A Success And Can Be Back To Form Two Days Later

George W Bush hospitalized Tuesday for a procedure to open a blocked heart artery where a successful surgery in a Texas hospital saved him from any future damage.

The 43rd President of the United States went for a usual checkup when it was noticed of a possible problem that forced him to be hospitalized. Luckily for George W. Bush, he was able fix the problem immediately and be able to go back to work as usual as soon as Thursday.

George W. Bush's office released a statement following the success of the surgery after the 67-year-old was hospitalized Tuesday.

"During President George W. Bush's annual physical examination at the Cooper Clinic in Dallas yesterday, a blockage was discovered in an artery in his heart. At the recommendation of his doctors, President Bush agreed to have a stent placed to open the blockage. The procedure was performed successfully this morning, without complication, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. President Bush is in high spirits, eager to return home tomorrow and resume his normal schedule on Thursday. He is grateful to the skilled medical professionals who have cared for him. He thanks his family, friends, and fellow citizens for their prayers and well wishes. And he encourages us all to get our regular check-ups."

In January, Bush quietly underwent back surgery to repair a disk problem.
