Quicksilver Appearing In X-Men AND Avengers: Days Of Future Past And Age Of Ultron Licensing Loophole Allows For Marvel Overlap

As "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" prepare for their respective release, the Marvel mutant Quicksilver is gaining attention for appearing in both films, played by different actors.

The confusion comes from the fact that Marvel Studios is planning on using both Quicksilver and his sister Scarlet Witch in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" when Twentieth Century Fox owns the rights to the X-Men and any mutants from Marvel Comics.

Recently, Hollywood Reporter confirms that director Bryan Singer will be using Quicksilver in "X-Men: Days of Future Past," played by Evan Peters. However, Scarlet Witch will not be joining him, unlike "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Needlessly to say, the timing of Joss Whedon and Bryan Singer announcing these mutant names is not by accident, and it seems tension continues to exist over the legalities of these character for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Recently Bryan Singer took to Twitter to show off a filming set specifically for a Quicksilver action sequence, which is being shot at 3,600 frames per second!

According to Screen Rant, given that Quicksilver will be filmed 150 times faster than normal, the footage should have a slow-down effect.

And of course, given that Quicksilver will appear in both "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," comparison will inevitably arise.

Who do you think will have the better Quicksilver?
