Selena Gomez new album Stars Dance is at the top of the album charts, and the singer actress is promoting her new album with a new look - make-up free for the cover of iD magazine! 

Selena Gomez is usually known for her glam looks, but for the iD magazine shoot she went with the fresh-faced natural look.  She winks at the camera as is the usual custom for iD magazine covers.

Selena Gomez new album Stars Dance has done so well that it beat out Jay Z's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail.  Selena is successfully promoting her new album Stars Dance with appearances and interviews.  Gomez sold 95,514 copies of "Stars Dance" in the album's first week according to early numbers.  Stars Dance is Selena Gomez's first album, although she released three other albums as part of the band Selena Gomez and the Scene.  The first single from Stars Dance is Come and Get It.

In the iD magazine interview, Selena Gomez talks about how much she enjoyed the iD magazine shoot:

"I love doing shoots overseas.  Actually being there and feeling the environment adds a realness to the shoot."

Gomez will get a chance to do a lot overseas as she kicks off her international tour to promote new album Stars Dance!

"It's so easy to wear incredible, beautiful dresses and look super glamorous, because you have the power of Photoshop, but a shoot that's really stripped-down and raw is really fun to do. I was being rained on, it was freezing, I was covered in a giant sweater and my hair was all over the place. I got to just be in that moment and feel like I was there."

Even though Selena looks awesome in beautiful gowns and glam makeup, she looks equally amazing with none of those things.
