Pokemon Updates 2013: Rumble U Figures, Hulu eShop Mewtwo Special, And Anime Episode Titles

It's been a busy year for Pokemon, and with so many upcoming releases, including Pokemon Rumble U and new episodes of Pokemon Best Wishes Season 2, several updates have surfaced regarding the Pokemon universe.

Firstly, the latest Nintendo Direct was hosted yesterday on August 7, and while not much was revealed in terms of Pokemon X and Y, a clarification detail was revealed regarding Pokemon Rumble U.

For its North America release, which due out August 29, 18 NFC figures will be available through the Gamestop retail chain, according to Pokejungle.

So far, the NFC figures that come with Pokemon Rumble U include Bulbasaur, Pokachu, Torchic, Piplup, Lucario, Victini, Eevee, Mewtwo, Croagunk, Zoroark, Litwick, and Genesect.

However, it looks like North America and Europe might receive their own special NFC figures in addition to these standard releases.

In other news, Pokemon and Hulu is hosting a joint advertising venture by presenting half of the recent special, "Mewtwo: The Prologue to Awakening," on the 3DS eShop for free.

The venture is to advertise the release of the Hulu app, which includes many Pokemon episodes under subscription. Unfortunately, this venture is only currently available for Japanese viewers only, according to Serebii.

And finally, the upcoming Pokemon Best Wishes Season 2 anime has unveiled the episode titles for two upcoming episodes.

Episode 800, which set to air September 5 in Japan, is called "Emolga Joins Team Rocket," while Episode 801 is titled "Cilan VS the Ice Challenger! The Crisis at Striaton Gym!"

Episode 801 will air September 12, 2013.
