Dallas Shootings Arrest Made, Four Dead, Four Injured In Rampage; Suspect Was On Mavericks, May Have Used Grenade

Dallas shootings left four people dead and four injured. Erbie Bowser has been arrested after an overnight rampage in conjunction with the Dallas shootings.

Browser is reportedly a former member of a popular all-male Dallas Mavericks cheer team. 

The Dallas shootings are currently being investigated. An arrest has been made. Police think the suspect may have used a grenade or another explosive.

Four people were shot in two separate attacks, just minutes apart. The attacks took place in two Dallas-area homes. Two of the survivors are 11 and 13-year-old boys.

Police did not relay information on the condition or identities of the four survivors.

Details of Bowser's relationship with his victims are still emerging and have not been released by police. Bowser may have been trying to murder a former girlfriend and his estranged wife.

The first shooting took place late Wednesday night, at a house in southwest Dallas, Dallas police Sgt. Warren Mitchell told press.

About fifteen minutes later, the second shooting happened about ten miles away, in DeSoto, TX.

Police found four gunshot victims in the home around 10:30 PM; two had died. The perpetrator allegedly fled to DeStoto and shot four more people, two of whom died.

In the DeSoto shooting, two boys, ages 11 and 13, survived.

A neighbor in DeSoto, Tommy Johnson, to press that he heard a loud boom coming from the direction of the home where the Dallas shooting occurred. Police suspect Bowser may have used an explosive.

"We thought it was coming from upstairs, because the kids are always upstairs making noise," Johnson told. "I went up and asked, 'Did y'all hear anything?' and one of my daughters said it came from outside. So I peeped out the front and that's when I saw a bunch of officers walking down the sidewalk and about 10 houses up."

Neighbors gathered in the street in their nightclothes as police arrived to the crime scene.

The ATF and Dallas bomb squad are investigating whether a grenade or other explosive device was used.

Bowser was a former Mavs ManiAAC, a popular all-male hip-hop dance troupe who perform at Dallas home basketball games.
