Crayon Pop's 'Bar Bar Bar' Goes Viral In The US

When Crayon Pop released their latest single "Bar Bar Bar" in June, it was barely a blip on the radar.

But then, almost a month later, the quirky helmet dance and cutesy music video started to gain momentum and the song soared up the charts.

Now, the US is catching on to the Crayon Pop craze.

On August 6 the music video was posted to the popular viral media blog BuzzFeed under the title 'K-Pop Girl Group Crayon Pop's "Bar Bar Bar" Is The Only Thing You Need To Watch Today.'

The posting also included four popular parodies of the video and dance including the SNL Korea version and one done by a group of enthusiastic police officers.

As a special bonus, a video of Crayon Pop fan boys chanting was added at the end.

The number of YouTube views for "Bar Bar Bar" have been increasing and the fun and energetic music video has started a sort of dance craze similar to when Psy's "Gangnam Style" first made its way to the American shores (although for now to a much lesser degree).
