Minecon 2013 Ticket Buyers To Get CAPES As Confirmed By Mojang; Non-Attendees Can Watch LIVE STREAMING for Upcoming Minecraft Event

The availability of Minecon 2013 capes is one of the highly-talked about topic weeks before the release of tickets and more official details about the anticipated 3rd all-things Minecraft event.

Well, the good news is that Mojang has already confirmed that there will be capes for all who purchased Minecon 2013 tickets. In a blog post from Mojang AB's COO at their official site, he said, "Yes, there will be capes again for all ticket purchasers." He then further said, "We don't have information on how that will happen or what they will be like, but you'll hear before MINECON."

The Minecon 2013 tickets quickly sold out soon after the release of each batches, the first one was made available on July 31. Vu Bui warned those who were not able to grab Minecon 2013 tickets against 'scalpers' who purchased tickets for the event and then sell it for extremely higher price. The post said, "Tickets are completely sold out, and we don't recommend buying them second hand from scalpers because they are terribly expensive and there's no way to guarantee that you will be getting genuine tickets."

Furthermore, even though there is a petition requesting Mojang AB to sell Minecon 2013 tickets on the event dates itself, the indie game developer already expressed that they will not do so. The article reads, "We also won't be selling tickets at the door, because tens of thousands of people could show up, and our venue is planned for the 7500 tickets we sold."

Selling of tickets were divided into three batches, in various schedules, each containing 2500 Minecon 2013 tickets, in an effort "give people the most chance of being able to buy them when they are available, whether they have jobs, school or other things that could get in the way of any one specific time or day."

If you cannot attend the Minecon 2013 event, set to happen on November 2-3 at the West Building of Orange County Convention Center, Mojang also said that much of the event will have a live streaming just like last year. Bui shared, "The entire time the show is going we will stream content, from the main panels to the show floor, sharing as much of the event as possible, as it happens, to people at home."

Moreover, after Minecon 2013, the stream and the panels will be available to view on Youtube.
