Kindle Fire HD Tablet Reviews [VIDEO]: Will Amazon’s Tablet Beat the Google Nexus 7? Improved Styling and Specs Heat Up Tablet Competition

Kindle Fire HD Tablet Reviews News: Readers love tablets and e-book readers, which are a great information technology.  Reviews of the Kindle Fire HD Tablet have recently come out, giving consumers information about the specs of the Kindle Fire HD tablet and whether it's a worthy buy in the tablet market.

Blog Engadget's review appreciates the Kindle Fire HD Tablet's styling, which is "considerably more visually appealing" than previous models, and "understated; visually, a sea of soft-touch matte black will be your overwhelming impression".  The screen is 7 inches, with an 8.9 inch model coming out later this year.

The Kindle Fire HD Tablet measures at 7.6 x 5.4 x 0.4 inches (193 x 137 x 10.3mm), which is wider taller and thinner than Amazon's original Kindle Fire tablet.

The Kindle Fire HD Tablet offers 16GB for $199 or 32GB for $249.  With the smaller option, you'll have about 12.6GB of space at your disposal, while the larger option has 26.9GB.  Both options for the Kindle Fire HD come with a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4460 processor.

There is no 3g/4g option with the Kindle Fire HD Tablet, so users will have to use wireless.

The Kindle Fire HD Tablet in battery test reviews showed that it gets almost 10 hours of battery life.

The Kindle Fire HD Tablet has a lot more capabilities than just reading a book, according to reviews.  There is office software, calendar software, and a host of multimedia content not available on a printed page.

Of course, Google's Nexus 7 tablet has recently been the best of the reviews, so Amazon's Kindle Fire HD has tough competition.  Blogger Engadget touts "twice the storage, proper stereo speakers, HDMI output and better WiFi performance" for the Kindle HD Fire Tablet in the review.
