Lady Gaga New Single “Applause” Gets Subliminal Ad; Lady Gaga Tells Fans Not to Buy Her Music; Don't Read This Article (Video)

Lady Gaga’s new single, “Applause,” was rush-released after the song was leaked over the internet last weekend. Lady Gaga fans, who she calls her “little monsters,” immediately went on the offensive starting an anti-piracy campaign online. Now, Lady Gaga just released a video publicity stunt for her new album, “Prism.” Lady Gaga released a video online saying that she’s over and urging fans not to buy Lady Gaga music. But Lady Gaga has something else up her sleeveless blouse.

Lady Gaga has been pushing the limits on how she has been promoting her new single, "Applause" and the album “Prism.” Lady Gaga grabbed headlines by shooting a fully nude video and bearing her fine behind in a see-through bodysuit on a night out in Los Angeles. Even declaring a “pop music emergency” is a Lady Gaga performance piece designed to attract attention. Lady Gaga loves the “Applause.” So when Lady Gaga uses confusion hypnosis techniques by putting out a short film ordering her fans not to buy her new music, she is saying the opposite. Lady Gaga also took to Twitter to post a link to the "Lady Gaga is Over" video, ensuring that Lady Gaga is not over.

Ever see those ads that say “Don’t Read This”? You can’t help but read them. That is subliminal advertising at its most blatant. When Lady Gaga urges the public not to buy her music, what she’s really saying is buy it. It’s here.

Elena Beloff, a NYC consulting hypnotist explained, "Hypnosis is a process of attaining one's attention and transmitting a clear specific message. One of the many techniques to draw such attention in marketing and sales is to create scarcity, competition or a sense of something being forbidden or simply being a secret. Gaga clearly is going for the latter. Don't buy it, she advises you. An old technique in sales `don't click here, don't look, not for you..' etc. However, there is something else she is doing: She calls herself a flop, passé. Could she be in fact? Another technique to draw attention is speak the truth. Truth builds rapport and can be quite attractive,no matter what it is. She could be the first to admit her current state of affairs, before someone else does."

In the short film, Lady Gaga looks directly into the camera wearing a clear mask as captions like "Lady Gaga is no longer relevant ... Ever since 'Born This Way' she's a flop ... Do not buy her new single 'Applause' on iTunes ... Give her no applause ... Don't dance to the song at all ... DO NOT buy 'ARTPOP'” flash on the screen.

Just watching the video to write up this piece makes me want to buy the album. Lady Gaga is still relevant.
