Super Junior’s Kyuhyun Stars on ‘Mamma Mia’ with… His Mother??

Super Junior member and MC Kyuhyun fulfills Lee Young Ja's wish on "Mamma Mia."

According to a KBS entertainment rep, Kyuhyun invited his mother to appear with him on the August 29 episode of KBS 2TV "Happy Sunday - Mamma Mia."

This episode of "Mamma Mia" was made into a "Hallyu Idol Special," where Kyuhyun appears with other guests such as Kara's Gyuri, 2NE1's Minzy, and their respective mothers.

In earlier episode that aired on August 4, Lee Young Ja had a watermelon-eating contest with Kyuhyun. Since Kyuhyun lost, he had to fulfill Lee Young Ja's wish of having him appear on "Mamma Mia" with his own mother.

To honor his word, Kyuhyun invited his mother onto the show, thereby fulfilling Lee Young Ja's wish. As much as Lee Young Ja emphatically wanted Kyuhyun to invite his mother on the show, "Kyuhyun's Behind Story" is gathering a lot of attention.

One rep said, "This is the first time Kyuhyun's mother is appearing on an entertainment show. You can look forward to the playful banter between the guests and their mothers. Kyuhyun's mother plans to reveal her son's celebrity lifestyle, family life, and surprise even Kyuhyun with stories that he doesn't know about yet."
